A sunset-colored background range of blush, purple, orange and pink carries your eye around this dreamlike scene of the Pine Ridge. In a recurring them in Locke's work, two riders cross the landscape in victory. Features including a beautifully executed medicine wheel with feathers, realistic landscape of the Porcupine area (Locke's home), and tipi are framed by an outline of the state of South Dakota.
